Grant Application - For Culver City Foundation

1. Introduction

Thank you for your interested in receiving a grant from the For Culver City Foundation!

We are dedicated to supporting the good in our community through micro-grants. Our micro-grant program is designed to be a simple and hassle-free way for IRS-certified charities and nonprofits to receive funding for impactful projects. We believe in empowering local organizations, and our micro-grants are awarded each quarter to those who meet our criteria and align with our mission.

2. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a micro-grant, your organization must:

Be located, and operate in, Culver City.
Be an IRS-certified charity, nonprofit, or similar organization.
Be listed on the Fidelity Charitable platform.
Align with our foundation’s focus areas of community development, education, and the arts.

3. Grant Guidelines

Grant Amount: Micro-grants are typically awarded in amounts up to $5,000.
Quarterly Awards: Grants are awarded each quarter, and applications must be submitted within the open application window.
Reapplication: If your organization is not selected for a grant, you are welcome to reapply in the next quarter. Please note that submissions are not saved, so a new application must be submitted each time.
Grant Recurrence: Organizations awarded a grant are not eligible to receive another grant until one year has passed. For example, if awarded a grant in Q1, the organization may apply again in Q2 of the following year.

4. Application Process

Open Application Window: Applications are accepted during the open application window each quarter.
Review Period: After the application window closes, our advisory board will review and score the submissions.
Announcement of Recipients: Grant recipients will be announced at the end of each quarter.

Q4: October 1, 2025 – October 31, 2025

Q2: May 1, 2025 – May 31, 2025
Q3: August 1, 2025 – August 31, 2025
Q4: November 1, 2025 – November 30, 2025

Tentative Announcement Dates:

Q1: March 15, 2025
Q2: June 15, 2025
Q3: September 15, 2025
Q4: December 15, 2025
